Chloe? Tess? Jimmy? Two of these characters may die--and stay dead--before the season ends, says online report.
The population of Smallville is about to be two fewer. That's the report from EW.com, which is citing a source close to the production of the show who says two characters from the CW science-fiction drama will be killed off later this season. Yikes! So who are the two unlucky stiffs?
Even if we knew, we wouldn't post them here. But for those who want to do a little detective work on their own the two are reportedly "pivotal characters," and not only will they die, but they'll buck that stupid trend of television resurrection and actually stay dead (I'm looking at you Brothers & Sisters! Lamest. "Death." Ever.). Both deaths are being written into the May season finale.
The only other clue we have is that one of the characters set to go kaput is a veteran of the show and one is a relatively new character.
Smallville has been renewed for a ninth season, so I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it isn't Clark who's going belly-up. So who does that leave? Fan-favorite Chloe? Lil' Jimmy? New villain Tess? Take your guesses in the comments section! Cake for those who get it right.
